Growing businesses
The business has grown. The systems need to catch up.
Most established businesses reach a point where the way things are done stops working. Information sits in WhatsApp, inboxes and spreadsheets, staff do the same job three different ways, and too much depends on one or two people. I put the processes, systems and reporting in place so the business runs properly as it grows.
Sound familiar?
- Information is spread across WhatsApp, email and a handful of spreadsheets
- Nobody has a complete view of what is booked, live, late or waiting
- Two people do the same task two different ways
- The business still depends on one or two people knowing how everything works
- You pay for software, but the team only uses part of it
- Your website does not reflect how good the business actually is
How I help
Process mapping
I map how work actually moves through the business today, where it stalls and what to fix first.
Monday.com systems
Boards for sales, jobs, staff and admin, built around how your team really works.
Workflow automation
Reminders, approvals and status updates that happen without someone chasing them.
SOPs and staff workflows
Written procedures for the core tasks, so everyone works the same way and new starters learn the job properly.
KPIs and management reporting
A short set of weekly numbers that tell you how the business is really doing.
Website, SEO and AI search
Clearer pages, technical SEO and AEO and GEO work, so the website matches the business and gets found.
What changes
The aim is a business that runs the same way whether or not you are in the room.
One clear view of enquiries, jobs and workload
Less manual administration and fewer things falling through the gaps
Consistent processes that new staff pick up quickly
Weekly management information you can trust
A website and search presence that match the quality of the business
How it works
Initial conversation
A short call about what is getting in the way and where you want the business to be in a year.
Review and mapping
Time with you and the team to map how work really flows, with a written summary of what to fix first.
Recommendations and build
I build the systems, procedures and reporting, and test them with the people who will use them.
Support and improvement
Regular check ins while the new way of working beds in, with changes as the business grows.
How pricing works
I offer hourly and project options, depending on the work involved. Short calls and quick questions are not charged.
Defined pieces of work can be quoted at a fixed price after an initial conversation.
Edward quickly got under the skin of how our business actually operates. He helped us put proper systems and structure in place, which has made a noticeable difference to how smoothly we run day to day. Communication is clear, delivery is fast, and the impact has been immediate.
Questions
Do we need to replace our current software?
Not always. Often the tools you already pay for will do the job once they are set up properly. When something new is needed, it is usually Monday.com.
Can you fix just one part of the business?
Yes. Some clients start with one process, such as quoting or onboarding, and build from there.
Can you work with our existing team?
Yes. The people doing the work help design the new process, which is why they end up using it.
Can you document processes we already use?
Yes. Writing up what already works is often the quickest win, and it makes training new staff far easier.
Do you provide ongoing support?
Yes. Many clients keep a few hours a month for reporting, changes and advice once the main work is done.
