Website improvement
A website that explains what you do and brings in enquiries
Your website should do more than look good. I improve the structure, wording and speed so visitors understand your offer, trust you and get in touch.
Signs your website is holding you back
- People visit but do not get in touch
- You have one page trying to explain everything you do
- It is slow on a phone
- You are embarrassed to send people to it
- Nobody has updated it in a year
What I do
Structure
A page for each service and audience, with clear navigation.
Wording
Plain English copy that answers the questions customers actually ask.
Speed and mobile
Lighter images, fewer scripts and layouts that work on a phone.
Conversion
Clear calls to action, simple forms, phone numbers and booking.
New pages
Service, location and landing pages built on WordPress or Wix.
Tracking
Know which pages and searches bring in enquiries.
Improve before you rebuild
Most small business websites do not need starting again. Better structure, clearer wording, a page for each service and a few speed fixes usually make the biggest difference, at a fraction of the cost and time of a rebuild.
How it works
Review
A look at your current site, analytics and competitors.
Plan
The pages, wording and fixes that will make the most difference.
Build
Changes made on your WordPress or Wix site, with your approval.
Measure
Track enquiries and keep improving.
How pricing works
I offer hourly and project options, depending on the work involved. Short calls and quick questions are not charged.
Defined pieces of work can be quoted at a fixed price after an initial conversation.
Ed brings a rare combination of strategic thinking and practical execution. He understands the detail, explains things clearly, and delivers work that genuinely moves the needle. Once Ed takes ownership of an issue, there is no need to chase. He instinctively takes responsibility, rolls up his sleeves, and resolves whatever technical or operational challenge is required. His support is thoughtful, responsive, and consistently high quality.

Do I need a new website?
Often not. Most sites improve a lot with better structure, wording and a few new pages, at a fraction of the cost of a rebuild.
Which platforms do you work on?
Mainly WordPress and Wix, but I am comfortable working with most platforms. Let me know what your website is built on and I can always take a look.
Can you write the wording too?
Yes. I write it with you so it is accurate and sounds like your business.
